Is Marvel better since Disney purchased them or were they better before the purchase? On August 31, 2009, The Walt Disney Company announced a deal to acquire Marvel Entertainment for $4.24 billion and we want to know if Marvel is better today for having agreed to this. To figure this out, we analyze Marvel Entertainment in three areas: the comics, the movies, and the theme parks and discuss the effect the Disney company has had on each category.
